Manga Like Unmet: Aru Nougekai no Nikki

Paralysis, memory impairment, aphasia—all caused by brain disorders. What neurosurgeons treat isn’t just the brain—it’s patients’ lives. A highly authentic medical drama written by a former neurosurgeon! / There are approximately 1.12 million patients with cerebrovascular disease in Japan. And many of them are struggling with some form of aftereffects. Tomoharu Sanpei, who has transferred from a hospital in the U.S. to a major suburban hospital, doesn’t read the room. Yet this behavior is characteristic of a neurosurgeon, for whom even the slightest delay can determine the course of a patient’s life. This includes case studies on “intracranial hematoma,” “fourth ventricle tumor,” and “aphasia.”
